Places T Buy Camcorder In Newyork
day 43
A Big Mac yesterday and a lot of bad luck.
It will not stop. Bad luck follows me, happiness can be for a moment and look disappears. This is much worse than if the happiness would not have been there. Then you could at least get used to the pitch and come to terms with it, but if you luck rubbed constantly under the nose, the pitch is much more dramatic. The tears flow too often. Drama. I feel betrayed, useless, not good enough. Tomorrow is Monday, fits very well to change around. Do I now put forward a to-do list
Conclusion: no motivation, no plans, no development, no progress, no recognition, no affection. Standstill.

day 22
I have something really great. I have a MacBook. A step forward.
I have almost no money. A step back.
I have an action for 6 days. A step forward.
I wrecked my car. A step back.
I have no money. A step back.
I really like someone and he did not. A step back.
Conclusion: I will not drive a car anymore. I will not meet someone. I will spend no more money. 2 steps forward and 4 back . Mood: bad.
Otherwise, I just read "The Little Prince" while trying not to be happy. Today is not a great day and so I'll make a cake. Then the day certainly will be better. When I'm done I'll call my sister and the day is even better.

A dark secret buried beneath our bloodiest battlefield
Laura Caxton vowed never to face them again. The horror of what the vampires did is too close, the wounds too fresh. But when Jameson Arkeley, broken and barely recognizable, comes to her with an unfathomable, unholy discovery, her resolve crumbles.
Arkeley leads Caxton to a tomb in Gettysburg recently excavated by a local archaeology professor. While the town, with its legendary role in the Civil War’s worst battle, is no stranger to cemeteries, this one is remarkably, eerily different. In it lie 100 coffins—99 of them occupied by vampires, who, luckily, are missing their hearts. But one of the coffins is empty and smashed to pieces.
Who is the missing vampire? Does he have access to the 99 hearts that, if placed back in the bodies of their owners, could reanimate an entire bloodthirsty army? How did the vampires end up there, undisturbed and undiscovered for 150 years? The answer lies in Civil War documents that contain sinister secrets about the newly found coffins—secrets that Laura Caxton is about to uncover as she is thrown into a deadly, gruesome mission of saving an entire town from a mass invasion of the undead....
Meinung
99 Coffins 's like the continuation of 13 Bullets , both books can be read entirely on its own.
as "historical vampire story" is built up completely different than the previous novel, as a chapter from a chapter in the present with the past (Gettysburg during the American Civil War) alternates. This chapter from 1863 in the form of letters or reports designed to give the former soldiers and put together a response to the origin of the 99 coffins found.
Someone who knows little about the history of time and also of little interest for it, will probably get bored quickly, and in these bays, they might even skip to simply follow the history of the present. This is indeed exciting and bloody 13 Bullets , but almost a bit too much. While Caxton Arkeley and then with a handful of vampires were already overtaxed, they face now with a potential army of Vampires face and mutates the whiny, insecure Caxton suddenly Wonder Woman.
rather less successful.

There Are Only 13 Bullets Between the World You Know and the World They Rule
All the official reports say they are dead-extinct since the late ’80s, when a fed named Arkeley nailed the last vampire in a fight that nearly killed him. But the evidence proves otherwise.
When a state trooper named Caxton calls the FBI looking for help in the middle of the night, it is Arkeley who gets the assignment-who else? He’s been expecting such a call to come eventually. Sure, it has been years since any signs of an attack, but Arkeley knows what most people don’t: there is one left. In an abandoned asylum she is rotting, plotting, and biding her time in a way that only the undead can.
Caxton is out of her league on this case and more than a little afraid, but the fed made it plain that there is only one way out. But the worst thing is the feeling that the vampires want more than just her blood. They want her for a reason, one she can’t guess; a reason her sphinxlike partner knows but won’t say; a reason she has to find out-or die trying.
Now there are only 13 bullets between Caxton and Arkeley and the vampires. There are only 13 bullets between us, the living, and them, the damned.
Meinung
One thing is certain: After reading a 3 Bullets connects you with vampires no romantic notions of good-looking, more seductive forms. Wellington's vampires, with their bald heads, pointed ears and are reminiscent of shark teeth as ugly as deadly. They are hunting down anyone who is alive. Inconspicuous place with an almost Bite wound on his neck remains behind with half their victims face and shoulders and snatched away apparently has no one told them that there is not the meal to play. Play with them does not mean to nibble a bit of blood from the quivering bosom of a helpless beautiful (nothing against Anne Rice ...) but it's like to be brutal, as in eating (sucking blood one can hardly call that yet) itself, since it may already times, that a few fingers bitten off.
An exciting, action-packed story, that much blood but offers little schmaltzy. But the main characters are a little getting used to, Arkeley is something inhuman and Caxtion bit too whiny. But who needs a sympathetic protagonist, if he can not have fear.

Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts.
There are dangers and adventures for Bod in the graveyard. But it is in the land of the living that real danger lurks for it is there that the man Jack lives and he has already killed Bod's family.

Ein Baby suddenly appeared at night in a cemetery. The inhabitants decide to include it with them, to educate and protect. In the following years, the ghosts of his new family, the cemetery his home. He is some tricks that you can dream of normal boys of his age only he can make himself invisible or walk through walls, they experience adventures in secret grave chambers meets on ghouls and witches. But he feels so at home among the graves, so foreign to him, the human world. It is forbidden him to leave the cemetery as it is "out there" too dangerous is, for the murder of his family has not forgotten him after all these years.
The story sounds completely fantastic, but somehow familiar. By the time one reads in the acknowledgments that Gaiman was inspired by the jungle book, comes the eureka moment. Mowgli is to Bod, the jungle to the cemetery, Shir Khan, Jack.
But of course The Graveyard Book (so the German title) is more than an adaptation of the Jungle Book. A charming, engaging story with a sympathetic hero, his quirky ghost friends, his mysterious protector Silas and some nasty foes. We rounded off the whole thing by a handful of illustrations by Chris Riddell. worth reading in any case.

For Bella Swan there, one thing is more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella could ever have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning .. .
opinion
How many pages had this book, please? The first band I was even ok (although I do not understand hysteria Edward said how), but part 2 was partially just awful.
In the beginning we went still, but once they've moved ... That was me entirely too much drama (OhneinEdwardistwegichmussSterbenBuhu). Then you had to struggle since long by Bellas childish thoughts and inferiority complexes, sometimes I thought: If not now, Bella soon commits suicide, then I have to do it.
Unlike Edward Jacob I found at least sweet and the story I liked him too (at least until the "adult" Jacob the stone age man mutates when he is confronted with vampires), but unfortunately destroyed Fine whine between the simple Lesefluß.
The only point in the book where I've actually read more like, because was exciting, was the episode in Italy. Of course, because of the André vampires. (Although I'm wondering why Bella is immune to all forces, but at that time in Band 1 could affect Jasper them yet, or am I mistaken?) As one might have to get some, but why should the reader want to learn more about the vampires, if they can read about Bella? (HeulheulichwarzwargradZeugineinesMassenmordsaberichdarfnichtweinenweilichsonstEdwardsschönesGesichtnichtsehenkann.)
Why is it really that usually much weaker second volume containing more pages than the debut?
But despite the criticism I must confess that I'm still curious about volume 3, because I want to know how the affair between Edward Bella + Jacob developed or whether it is a vampire already. Would be interesting to see if they then still it is a drama queen.

Frankly, I find it fascinating that Stephenie Meyer made the book so the mark and thus triggered a hype. Especially Edward I of course beat the readers hearts racing, I can not quite understand.
He is just the way the stereotype of the man's dream of all girls who still openly or secretly hoping that her prince to come galloping in shining armor on his white horse to rescue them. He's just waaaahnsinnig handsome, but is interested in his part of course zero good-looking insane girl but only for Bella (and yes, the average reader has a chance). He is muscular, smells good, is intelligent, has a lot of money and drives fast cars. There was a girl he loves so much and has a huge desire (vamp + menschl) to her, but a much cried term self-control (ie not all guys are pigs). And of course he is interested in every tiny little thing in her life, knows their favorite music, ... A little bad boy to his girlfriend, but of course he'd NEVER do something, blah blah blah.
That he is a vampire, just still a plus, that makes him a bit mysterious.
Funny, that is sufficient to make the reader inside so wuschig. I mean, the guy is almost 100 years old and this is all we get to hear from him? What has he been all this time driven? In general is indeed dealt with the information about the past of the Vampire sparingly. And if something comes, it is so boring and uneventful, or nonsensical. The thing about Alice? I was like, WTF?
But overall, it is always nice. It reads just very fast, because only the "story" to chase, without regard to the style. I was indeed quite simple, but again not too bad now. But the book I'm so in English read and there is my feeling for the language course, not so pronounced.
Yes, I think if I was the annoying trappings and the hype surrounding Edward Hide, then at least very entertaining and beautiful to read. The film I found the way, surprisingly, also quite amusing.

Patrick Cauvin was born in 1932 in Marseille. After his philosophy studies, he was drafted into the Algerian war. He then worked as a French teacher in Paris suburbs and as a film critic before he began to write. Most of his novels were best sellers, many of which were successfully filmed. Under the name of Claude Klotz, he wrote several thrillers.
blurb (Ullstein)
Herminie startled. The sound booms further on in this eerie place. It comes from below, is an underground sound, somewhere, has anyone or anything a huge rusted door closed. Still, this noise below her, as if it came from an echoing crypt. One step.
A step approaches, someone goes.
apply to you. The gong of her heart beats to the rhythm of the steps.
Herminie hands grasping at her neck, touch her knee during the floor tiles. Without that even a hint would have been felt, the torches are extinguished. In a cloud of reddish vapor just the master of the house has been released.
His shadow that extends up to annexing the capitals, for a moment the tall figure fluctuates. The eye appears in the pupil, and the arch of the brow occurs in acute angles up at the temples. Herminie recognize him: it is the man in the portrait. Slowly release the arms of the appearance of the body, are spreading. Undulating unfolds the heavy scarlet robe. "I am Count Dracula, Prince of the Vampire." Herminie swallow their saliva. "Very pleased, "she says.
That night was conceived Ferdinand ...
opinion
Although on the book cover of a horror novel is discussed, and the cover design rather seems to indicate a trashy novel, The Vampire of Paris in my eyes more of a parody of Dracularomane and film adaptations.
gets first Dracula to "naturally" a son - where did you heard that? - Then this gets in his first years of life blood in the vial. After the two are eventually evicted from their castle, they part ways and Dracula Junior verschägt it to Paris, where life plays along resent him. He must struggle through as a night watchman and has been around for ages no blood drinking, as people feel more revulsion against Ferdinand the foreigners, as against Ferdinand the vampire. As he and the vampire conventional means not reach their objective, he decides to rob a blood bank, but eventually end even as a blood donor.
His father, meanwhile, has made the big breakthrough as a movie star, and plays in many vampire films, the role of Dracula. It seems only logical that he views as the ideal embodiment of the Count is, he plays like a sort of self
The film adaptation of the book, The Men Dracula this aspect drives still on the top, because Dracula (Senior) is represented by none other than Christopher Lee - after his success in many Draculafilmen, mind you. Thus does Christopher Lee, who himself countless times as Dracula was facing the camera, the "real" Dracula, who plays a fictional Dracula. Stranger is not anymore.
book and film are definitely amusing, but the whole thing runs wild in part of a bit. After the stamp to be "horror novel" on the cover to expectations raised and so I was pretty disappointed.

Inhalt (Klappentext, Orbit)
Car mechanic and sometime shapeshifter Mercy Thompson has learned - the hard way - why her race was almost exterminated. When European vampires immigrated to North America, they found Mercy's people had a hidden talent for vampire slaying. Unfortunately for Mercy, the queen of the local vampire seethe has discovered her true identity.
The undead queen is also furious when she learns Mercy has crossed her and killed one of her . Own Mercy may be protected from direct reprisal by the werewolf pack (and her interesting relationship with its Alpha), but that just means Marsilia Mercy will come after some other way. Mercy Sun had better prepare to watch her back.
opinion
In Volume 4 we will re vamp. First appeared Mercy's vampire friend (yes, with the Scooby-Mobile) suddenly half dead (or whatever you call a half-dead undead?) In their house and someone is painting an X in the form of two crossed bones at the door Mercy's workshop. A sign that the vampires they regard as a traitor and to account want to move. This is, quite apart from the known to be basically friendly temperament of the vampires in Blood Bound (Volume 2 of the series) to find. As Mercy then leaves the city to their friends not to put at risk and the way to do an old school friend a favor, it reaches almost from bad to worse.
This volume is again very entertaining, even if the story somewhat predictable.

Mercy Thompson enjoys being a mechanic, but life is never simple given her increasing closeness to the local werewolf pack, and her ability to change into a coyote form at will. And when a member of the fae community calls in a favour, needing her skills for a covert murder investigation, she jumps into the hunt.
But the dangers multiply and she clashes with shadowed creatures of great power. When her old boss Zee is charged with a brutal assassination, Mercy finds herself fighting alone. There are those who love her, who would keep her safe, but she is wary and holds her freedom precious. Until, that is, she has nothing left to lose but her life ...
Meinung
Iron Kissed is the 3 band of the Mercy Thompson series and, in my opinion, so far the best. The characters are now fairly mature, so I finally able to build a certain relationship with them and "living as" with them could. Mercy's former boss, Zee, has now grown into one of my favorite characters, and since the plot revolves around him, above all - he is suspected of murder -., I found the whole thing quite exciting and above all you get finally some insight into his past, because hitherto knew Mercy (and, the reader) is that he a fairy (English: fae ), With significant power, and as one of the few fairy no damage from contact with iron will (hence the title Iron Kissed ), but even that is working - he was in front of Mercy of the owners of their garage.
also on the other fairies, who live for their "coming out" in a kind of reserve, Mercy learns more, as ye do well, for the Grey Lords are ready, people as little as mö ; to be possible to know about the fairies, but in no case the true extent of their power. Then, when some (even miraculous!) Artifacts in the hands of the fairies reach the people, the situation threatens to escalate.
Although the story sometimes seems a bit too fantastic, but it is well told and makes you want to continue. Not least because in the last pages Mercy finally chooses between Samuel and Adam. So entirely without love just comes from a book and that's a good thing.

Dimitry Glukhovsky: Metro 2033 (2005)
| | title: Метро 2033 (Russian) My Rating: |
Author (Publisher Info Heyne)
Dmitry Glukhovsky born in 1979 in Moscow, studied in Jerusalem International Relations and worked as a television and radio journalist, among other things, the TV channel Russia Today and the German wave. With his debut novel METRO 2033, he immediately landed a bestseller. He is considered one of the new stars of the young Russian literature. The author lives in Moscow.
content (blurb, Heyne)
It is the 2033. After a devastating war, large parts of the world lie in ruins. Moscow is a ghost town. The survivors have retreated into the depths of the Metro network, where it built a new civilization. A civilization, such as has never been seen before.
These are the adventures of the young Artyom, who breaks from his home station in order to preserve the underground in a dark threat. For the last men are not alone down there ...
opinion
Wow. After a few pages I was completely captivated by the story. Although I have at the beginning of the Russian names of metro stations and their relation to each other very confused, but then I luckily found the Metro Plan in the book.
the book is particularly exciting because representing the Moscow subway system and its inhabitants are a microcosm in which part of certain social structures and phenomena in the world "before" (ie before they flee to metro had to repeat). Sun
build people their homes in the stations, they love, argue, engage in trade, fighting each other. There are fascists, terrorists, freedom fighters, sectarian, cannibals, wars, alliances, trade agreements. Some try their children who have never seen the light of day, to offer a life that so close to "before" will be established, as possible. Others sell their children into prostitution to provide for themselves the best possible life.
caused the other hand, the new living situation, new developments. New gods are invented to give hope .. The men who risked their lives to go to the surface of books, Technology and other procure to be celebrated as heroes. For on the surface, the radiation has caused terrible with flora and fauna, and these excesses threaten to break into the Metro.
Despite plenty of excitement and some fantastic elements I have read the novel as a primarily social criticism. First, the human race destroys itself with its penchant for art and greases as some people can make it just continue where they left off. There are fewer dangers from without, as the internal dangers, from which the inhabitants are under threat.
I recommend to everyone, with the main character Artyom to explore the Moscow metro system, and marvel at 764 pages long with him to fear, to take the courage to acquire new knowledge to make acquaintances and at the end of the book to make a great discovery.
